I was pleased to see Dave's pictures of the Lords Of The New Church gig at Crocs posted recently. It is still one of the gigs I have ever been to.
It brought back great memories. I attended Crocs and then The Pink Toothbrush with Dave for many years and had the time of my life. Along with other great venues like Steve Thorogood's SAKS gigs and the totally brilliant Monkey House/Wasp Factory/Periphery it was part of my musical heritage.

Glad you enjoyed Saks Mark, great times, i do believe if there is enough interest we should get a venue and get all the old records out for a re-union, and a big piss up steve thorogood

Id defo be up for reunion too, top idea call it "Fiends reunited"
Have to get the ol snakebites and black on the menu, and plenty of dry ice to get the atmosphere
Agree with all your comments Mark, - and Chesters on a Wednesday wasn't to bad either (few to many numanoids at first tho')

Blimey Dave Chesters!! I remember going there with you and Paul Tunkin all those years ago. They were good nights as well. Do you remember teh first time we ever took Paul to Crocs? he got really pissed and was dressed as a New Romantic. Hilarious.
Steve, I love your idea about a reunion, it sounds a great idea. They were good times. I'm not sure about the Purple Nasty's though. I've not had one of them for years and the thought of them makes me feel quite ill to be honest. How we managed to quaff so many of them I'll never know. I suppose the addition of blackcurrent and cider took away the taste of the awful Crocs beer!!

Yes just reading the word 'snakebite' on the screen gave me a gag reaction...

Purple Nastys, yeah loved them, but think id vomit now !!!! Ive put a thread on re a reunion, hopefully we will get some interest and can get the ball rolling. It be a laugh to see us jumping around to some old tunes, a bit fatter, balder, and out of breath !!
