Thanks to all who came and played at the Lamb last night, The Spurts were really great and I think they must have been practicing for the last 30 years!!!! Hotwired were well tight, and its a shame they had to cut there set short. Not so many peps this time round, but a great crowd
See you on the 25th August.

A big well done to Andy again for organising such a great event! I too thought we had a great crowd in! There were people, who came from at least as far as London and didn't I hear that one of the Spurts flew in from Spain?

Hi there, Steve of the Spurts! Yeah I flew in from Girona, Spain. The Spurts, well we had the one practice together Sunday morning. It was amazing, seeing everone, playing . I havent sang with the band( or live!) since 1979. We,ve got a www.thespurts.com Theres links to some more aswell. We,ll be putting up fotos and videos of the Bar Lambs show last Sunday. We were rusty, sloppy you name it. But in the spirit of PUNK , we got up there and had a bash. Cheers to the other bands and specially to Andi!!! Thanks Steve (voice croaker of)the Spurts!

Hello, to everyone who came along to the gig on sunday many thanks, all the bands were great, especially The Convicted, i'd forgotten how good a front man Paul Eves is. Also special thanks to Andi, for putting it all together and letting us play, we (The Spurts ) had a great time, and hope to do it again ( with more time to learn the songs ). Keep on coming......Paul Spurt.......

The Three Mothers ? Is that anything to do with John Jenkins or am I just a bit confused, actually I think I probably am!

Yeah Sue, The Three Mothers have joined forces with Retrospex/Convicted, the idea is to have all three bands on the same bill each time.

Excellant! The fotos of the 3rd Reunion. Great job done by those clever camara people!! I know the Get have posted VIDEOS, AND this site has on Youtube. The Spurts have 6 on our web www.thespurts.com. All this PUNK Action has got me ready to go again! I think we,ll be enlarging our current repetoire. Cheers Steve P,Andi and those others who have made this crazy life crank up another notch. Steve The Spurts. (Trivia: did you know that there is at least 3 current bands called "The Spurts" in the States!!)
