Southend Punk was saddened to hear of the passing of Nicky Tesco. Nicky was the frontman of Punk band The Members whom I first heard with the song 'Fear on the Streets' on the 'Streets' compilation on Beggars Banquet Records. Further classics such as 'Solitary Confinement' were written by the band, and their biggest hit was the immortal classic 'The Sound of the Suburbs'. Their debut album 'At The Chelsea Nightclub', released in 1979, still stands up to this day. Nicky would later go on to act in and write scores for films as well as writing for a variety of magazines. R.I.P.
