Have you actually been sent your tickets yet? I'm still waiting for mine...
Didn't know if the Agencies had started sending them out yet...

I've bought six tickets from two different sources and still haven't received any of 'em!
Starting to get a bit worried now...

Tis but a wicked plan by the agencies to stop touts using Ebay and the likes ,they send them out 7 days before the gig to make it difficult for the black market to sell them on. I have bought from an ebay seller for the friday gig, and dont expect to see them much before the 7th. But its not the first time and never been dissapointed yet. keep the faith your tickets will arrive in time.

Cheers, I bought mine through eBay too...
Three turned up today and I've had an eMail from the other bloke saying - he's been in touch with TicketWeb; they've sent them; and if he doesn't get them soon - they'll reissue them...
At least I know I'm definitely going, now, anyway!!!

well its now all over , been there done it bla bla bla . AND IM GLAD WE DID .wat a nite they we blinding. john was just the best entertainer, not goading the crowd but actully playing along with em .my only grumble was there were a few hangers on there , like the 14 and 15 yr old behind us , was very excited . hoping to see" rotton "do the support band , give em a kickin!!!!!!!.like john would bother .they were proper public school boys with there yank dad . They soon shut up when lydon threw a few f**ks and c++ts about the yanks . and by half way sat down . Also heard in bog i quote "johns the only one with realy conviction, the others just sold out " errr sorry mr mechant banker in ya pin striped suit , but they all needed to play together or it would be the pistols . also got sick of al london cabbies saying "was it the oringinal band " thingys course it was. sidney couldnt even play and glen came back as a session musician behind the curtains. but by now ud thought most would get the facts right would ya .. Anyway the pistols were great .the venue was great .

Glad you got in Ok in the end... We went on the Thursday. I'd been to the Brixton Academy loads of times before- but I've never known the door staff/security to be so heavy-handed, strict and officious! Loads of people were getting various stuff confiscated or being refused entry AND They wouldn't let the girl I walked in with- IN, to start with, because they said she was drunk- so I had to take her to the cafe up the road and get her a burger & chips and a cup of tea before we could go in. This meant we missed the first support band- but it was only The Cribs- so that wasn't too serious. Then some DJ blokes did a set- can't remember what they were called- but they were cr@p. It was only funny coz their sound kept peaking up to a kind of crescendo & lots of the crowd were getting excited because they thought THAT meant The Pistols were about to come on! By the time The Pistols DID take the stage- I'd worked my way to the front (It was a serious crush!) When they started playing- I thought they were blinding! Better than I expected! Someone's obviously had a word with J. Rotten- because he's mainly stopped singing with his Public Image Ltd voice (that he's been doing ever since their comeback) and gone back to a much closer approximation of his old way of singing! Then, about three songs in, I realised I'd been pick-pocketed and lost my wallet & all my money! So I missed the rest of the set coz I was off filling a form out with the security blokes & then standing outside trying to cancel two debit cards on my mobile! Apparently- Johnny Rotten dedicated the song Bodies to Southend-on-Sea- but I missed him saying that! What I heard and saw of, them that day, was absolutely excellent... But I had a cr@p time... Bill

Sorry to hear your night was spoilt by a low life scum bag pick pocket, if your gonna steal do it like a man...face to face, and risk a battering!!!! i totally agree with your comments on the door staff, apparently a lot of tickets were stolen, (my original ones included) so that may be the reason for a lot of turn aways. but the door staff were over doing it a bit to say the least.
As for the DJ !!!!!!!!!!! what was that all about?
Rumour has it you have been nominated patron saint of punkettes for your selfless assistance on the night of the young lady refused entry.

Cheers, yeah - I suppose you've just got to be philosophical about that kind of thing! I console myself with the thought that - I didn't do anything wrong; or act like a Mug or anything... There was just someone there (in the densely packed crowd) who was more interested in finding out what was in my pocket - than in watching an excellent band that you hardly ever get the chance to go and see! Those DJs were called - The Scratch Perverts (apparently) and are quite well known... (also apparently!!!) I was supposed to go and see the Deathskulls play at the Royal Hotel on Friday- but I was in such a bad mood that I stayed in with the camel - the hump! I've calmed down now, though... Ha ha - yeah - Saint Bill !! I could live with that...
