A highly recommended box set by Southend Punk is the excellent 'Siouxsie and The Banshees at the BBC'. It is a 4-disc set, containing three audio discs and one DVD. For me, the DVD especially is outstanding, with the early Whistle Test and Something Else performances being of particular note. The audio discs are also of great quality, with perhaps The John Peel Sessions being the most exemplary. As the promo for it says - 'An essential band approved collection of BBC Radio and TV Performances from one of Britain's most influential groups. This 4 disc box set explores the band's amazing early BBC archive, including the early and legendary John Peel Sessions, rare, live and unreleased recordings and for the first time to DVD, TV clips from The Old Grey Whistle Test, Soemthing Else, Top of The Pops, Oxford Road Show and Rock Goes To College. Contains 55 audio tracks, a 30 track DVD and new sleeve notes by Paul Morley.' For further information, please visit: www.southendpunk.com/html/siouxbbc.htm
