I am organising a costume exhibition for Southend Museums and would love to show some original punk outfits that were worn in Southend. I thought they would make a nice contrast with the Victorian dresses! If anyone has some original items of costume that they would like to lend to the exhibition (or even donate to the museum!) I would love to hear from you. The actual title of the exhibition is Beside the Seaside and it is a celebration of Southend as a seaside town. We already have a huge historic costume collection here but have nothing relating to youth culture so I am also looking for things like Teddy Boys' and Mods and Rockers' outfits.
Hope to hear from someone soon

Graham, what are you LIKE?
On the "Conflict Gigs..." thread- you mock some punks for: "putting on their big mohicans" to go to London to see Conflict...
But here you are - proudly offering your very own mohican to a lady to put in her museum!!!
