Alex Ogg's eagerly anticipated next book 'Independence Days: The Story of UK Independent Labels' is due out in May, and looks set to continue the high levels of research he set when compiling his previous book, 'No More Heroes'.
The new book is described thus:
"Two-plus years in the making, Independence Days draws on painstaking research including more than 160 interviews, profiling each of the independent labels that blossomed in the direct aftermath of punk, including Rough Trade, Beggars Banquet / 4AD, Stiff, Chiswick, Mute, Cherry Red, Factory, Fast Product and hundreds more."
It certainly looks essential and more details will be added as soon as we have them.
