News from my end - I've discovered a piece of paper with my login scribbled on it, so I thought I would poke my napper in to see what's what.

Well that won't take long.
The Kippars - "Four lads who shook the world". There is a statue to them somewhere or other. There are some recordings out there somewhere too.
Confidential Waste - Best known for its book review page. The first book reviewed was The Bible. The horrorscope page wad less warmly received. The predicted "All Sagitarius will injure their left knee in a collision with a supermarket trolley stacked with fishfingers" proved to be not only wildly inaccurate, but meant that my friend Lucy refused to enter Bejam for three years.

* * taps fingers *
Nearly two months I've been sitting here staring at this screen.
I DO have things to do you know.
Oh do come on.

Re The Kippars - Did Dave Hoy ever record the band at all? Potential recordings sound interesting. What was The Kippars line up?
Re Confidential Waste - I only know of the existence of Issue #1 (http://www.southendpunk.com/html/various1.html) - was there ever a second issue?

The Kippars line up was quite, err fluid. Andy Whiting was a mainstay and I did singing. I did have a tape of a practice (no recall of who did it) and there are some song lyrics and band photos around I believe. Lost most stuff in various moves.
I did write some pieces for a second issue of CW but not sure if it was ever published.
So what do we think about The Libertines/Babyshambles/Carl Barat?
