This was mainly Fatman setlist you could almost set your watch by it.
I dont remember to much of the Electric Blue stuff. I only used to go there occaisonally or when the monkey house was cancelled

Was the monkeyhouse the one at the Westcliff leisure Centre? I think I only ever went once.

Funnily, I dug out and played Chew Tobacco Rag the other day for the first time in probably 20 years. Its by Billy Briggs and was recorded way back in 1950!

Hi Steve, good to see that you are still around and keeping the faith, are you still in the Southend area? Cheers for many great memories from the Electric Blue and the Swag club! Just remembered, wasn't their lots of highly dubious 'homoerotic' art on the Swag Club walls???

Hi Graham, some great posts on here, brought back great memories, just put together my 50 playlist under misc, and its made me want to dig out all the records, and show my son what a sad bastard i am !!!! Yeah the walls were covered with it, essentially it was a gay bar before we used it, and most of the staff were gay, which was why they were fairly relaxed about us using it.....i loved that place, many special moments. Im back in the area, now in Rayleigh......lived in london for a while. Good luck with all the stuff youre still involved ........keep fighting !!!

crocs playlist for 80, 81, the normal, warm leaterette. iggy pop, nightclubbing. bollocks brothers, the bunker. the cramps, garbage man. the cramps, drug train. the slits, heard it through the grapevine. the stranglers, peaches. human league, being boiled. human league, after dark. killing joke, almost red. ultravox, young savage. i think the best thing about crocs in the early years was how inclusive it was with the overt tribal stuff happening later. great club as good as anything that came later, and im talking Club UK, Ministry, although Lost was amazing.
